About Splash School

Curt Hoffman,

the owner and founder of Splash School, got started teaching people to swim in high school, when he taught his mother how to swim at their lake one summer. In 2001, he was certified as a Red Cross water safety instructor and became an instructor trainer in 2004. In 2002 he also became a certified lifeguard and in 2010 became a lifeguard trainer.  Curt feels that learning to swim should be both fun and safe, so all of our instructors are lifeguard certified. We currently have swimming lessons available in Brainerd, Baxter, Little Falls, and Nisswa. "At some of these locations we can accommodate children with special needs including Downs Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Spina Bifida and Blindness"
